Punctured spellings

You know these small puncture fixing shops that one finds on roadsides? If anyone ever sees puncture spelt right on the boards of such shops anywhere, please send me a picture. I am yet to see one with the correct spelling. I have seen everything from "panjar", which was in Chennai, to a slightly better "puncher" in Bangalore.

I know a guy who had an idea to do an exhibition of all such wayside signboards. He has photographed many and think puncture was one among them. (The best signboard I have seen was put up by a repair shop. The guy had written VALAVU - in legible Malayalam - on a box of torch bulbs. Even "loadshading" in a local gym can't beat that.

Sav,

At the Edakkal Hermitage Reception they have hung up a frame full of such misspelt and grammatically incorrect but sign boards. Its a collage done up by some firang fellow. Have you seen it? It is hilarious!

Abhipraya,
Yeah, we laughed our heads off at that poster while we were waiting for our room. They were gems, all of them!
